I created this short film for my Digital Media Class at UVic. For me, this piece is all about the idea of “putting on faces.” I think there’s often a disconnect between what we present to others physically, and our internalized emotions, just as there is a disconnect in what we communicate and how it is interpreted by others. Although we have a general sense of what a particular mental state is, it is an abstraction, and therefore no one is using quite the same understanding of emotion.
