Three of my poems, “Dover Strait / Dallas Road Beach,” “The Doves of Victoria Station” and “Cambridge” * were selected for Undertow, the University of East Anglia undergraduate creative writing anthology. All three have been posted on #NewWriting, a joint project of UEA and the Writers’ Centre Norwich.

All three poems were written during my year abroad in Norwich, England. Each poem is an exploration of being foreign, particularly in a land which is one’s “homeland.”

*Note: Due to a printing error, the body text of “Cambridge” was replaced with the text from Zein Sa’dedin’s poem “Starry, starry” in the UEA anthology.
